The CUHK Bridge to China Team is a good choice to satisfy your wishes to enhance your life experience as well as to serve the community.
The CUHK Bridge to China Team is a university volunteering team formed under this Centre with the support and guidance from Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation. Since 2009, the team has participated in and organised numerous investigation trips on villages, bridge building projects and public health programmes with the help of CUHK students. Under the pandemic, the team has been engaging actively in local construction projects to restore old villages and preserve local culture.
The CUHK Bridge to China Team of this academic year is now recruiting core members. On one hand, they will be given opportunities to take part in current construction projects in the remote areas of Hong Kong to improve the livelihood of villagers. On the other hand, they will formulate plans with Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation on the service-learning initiatives for running in the Mainland. Requirements
Non-final-year students
Able to communicate in basic Mandarin
Term of service: 12 months (late-October 2022 to early-October 2023)
Responsible and self-motivated
Interested in understanding the challenges experienced by remote villages in the Mainland and Hong Kong
Students from all disciplines are welcomed

To allow students to have a deeper understanding of the CUHK Bridge to China Team, a “Cultural Tour at Cape D’Aguila” has been organised, through which participants can also visit The Swire Institute of Marine Science of The University of Hong Kong. All CUHK students are welcomed to join it. Details are as follows:
