* Speaker’s Biography
Dr. Wong Kim Fan received his Ph.D. in translation studies from Hong Kong Baptist University. He is currently a lecturer of translation, philosophy and general education courses in different Universities, including The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He is also a freelance copywriter and translator, specialised in subtitle translation and social media translation. His research interests include contemporary translation theories, translation of subtitles, philosophy of travel, etc.
